Church of Santa Maria Assunta

The façade is in neoclassical style with eight large columns with Ionic capitals.Inside, the church has a Latin cross plan with three naves divided by pillars with a large dome; the ceiling of the nave is decorated with lacunars. The transept is covered with a barrel vault and has an early 18th-century painting of a Deposition on the altar to the left. Next is the door to the Sacristy which, inside, covered with a pavilion vault, has walls decorated with stuccoes that create a motif of pilaster strips and panels: there is also a centred canvas of the Assumption on the door. To the left of the presbytery is the marble episcopal throne behind which is a large 19th-century choir; on the back wall, behind the high altar, is the painting of Our Lady of the Assumption by Giacinto Diano.
