Totò 2017

On a wall in vico Zuccariello, a side street of Via Nuova San Leone in Gragnano, Totò, the prince of laughter, is immortalised by Jorit in the historic scene from the film Miseria e Nobiltà (1954), in which he eats spaghetti with his hands. The mural was financed through a fundraising campaign organised by Gragnano Hub with the "Gragnano Città della Pasta IGP Consortium" to highlight the historic union between the art of white pasta and Gragnano, a town also known for other local products, including the famous Frizzantino wine, also mentioned in Totò's historic film.
